Left eye is currently 20/20
Right eye is currently 20/10
I think it was worth it!

Okay, so if you're squeamish, maybe you don't want to read. I didn't think it was bad, but when I described it to my mom, she sounded distressed.

What's the cost like in Japan? It runs about $2000 in the US, so I'm curious how it compares.

It's about 2000 per eye in the us. It was 2000 for custom surgery with the 5 year follow up warrantee. A bit more than in other Asian countries, but would have been more with the air travel and stuff anyway.
