Migration to WordPress

Well, the decision has been made. After spending a long night happily geeking out with a test instance of WordPress, I've decided I'm going to migrate to it for the site. I'll still be crossposting over to LiveJournal, but I really like the idea of having the blog actually part of the site rather than being imported from elsewhere. Many thanks

Cool, enjoy wordpress!

I run it for a number of other blogs I have, and I love it. It's so easy to use and upgrade as needed.

Truth be told, there are only two reasons I've kept with LJ:

- The ability to mark things friends-only (reducing the chance of sensitive stuff getting out to someone I would prefer not read it)
- The friends I've made here :)

Yup, I'll definitely be sticking around, there is too much good stuff here to abandon, but I'm stoked with the new options I've got on the publishing side. :)
