Calling all Sprint users

So, I’m thinking the time is coming for a new cell phone. Old one isn’t holding a charge very well and it’s cheaper to get a whole new phone than trying to replace the battery. (And it seems like they don’t make that particular battery anymore anyway.)

So, if you have gotten a new phone in the past year - what did you get? What do you love about

I bought a new Sony Ericsson w580i, but I had to get it on eBay 'cuz AT&T doesn't sell them anymore. Does music, camera, text - not a smartphone or anything, but plenty of data capacity with a microSD card.

Right now I have a Palm Treo 800w it's creeping up on 2 years old. For the most part, I'm okay with it, but from time to time it locks up for no discernible reason, and it might be hours or days before I discover I need to pop the battery and reboot it. Then I get all the stuff that my phone hasn't known about, and I want to stomp the damn thing into the pavement.

We have a shared data plan, "Sprint Everything," I think, and we're happy with that service.

We used to have Sprint and had significant problems with them so we switched to Nextel. We didn't have any problems with them, and since they've merged with Sprint, still no trouble. The only problems I've had have been with the phone itself, not the services.

I plan to wait a couple months and get an HTC EVO 4G.
