Vacation...what can I say? Vacation was awesome. The perfect mix of keeping busy and not, of being social and staying solitary...it was exactly what I needed to re-charge. Though I wish I could have taken a second week...I have the time, but my projects wouldn't allow it

I like Port Jeff...it's become sort of a tradition with The Little One and I that we go on the Ferry every year on his last day of summer vacation...we walk around a bit, have some lunch and then come back...nice way to spend a day!

That sounds like a lovely tradition! I get down there to see them whenever I can, but the drive is a bit annoying unless you go when there isn't much traffic. I'm contemplating walking on the ferry next time. Round trip is like $35, and as long as parking is free that is about equivalent to the gas....
