Its so fucking rude when people check out and they are on their damn cellphone, especially since we as cashiers are prompted to ask for a telephone number... and what's worse, I've been ignored several times today, or they just keep talking as I bag everything and have to ask a million times to see an ID. So fucking rude. Those

But, yeah, some customers are a pain the ass.

At least my regulars appreciated me when I worked at the supermarket. There was once I had a couple who were summer people, ie came down to the island only during the summer or weekends, who were being a pain.

Right behind them was an eldery couple who were year round regulars. I held on as best as I could until the pain couple were out of my line. Turned to the regulars and started their order and the wife said "I don't know how you do it." I just shrugged and smiled. At least someone knew.

Yeah, the area this store is in is full of old people and soccer moms. T_T

Ahaha, yeah I love it when other customers notice the rudeness of other customers. Some people would ask me how I can deal with this all day, and I'm like "Well, I should be doing something with my associate's degree, but its tough to find a job in that field..." That has sparked some interesting conversations with some people, often would result in another job lead or contact...

I've had some great conversations with fellow Trek fans and the like who came through my line.

The Acme uniform use to be a blue vest with your own clothes. I would wear the small version of the Next Gen comm pin on my vest near my name tag. One time a couple noticed it and they chatted with me as they checked out. It was a quiet spring day, so no other customers in line. As they turned to leave, I pulled back my vest to show the other pin I wore under the vest. A Cardassian Union symbol. Made some crack about the Obsidian Order knowing their movements and they left laughing.

A couple of weeks later they were back. But it was a little busier and I didn't see them. They went through another cashier's line (hey it was busy! We had two whole registers open!). The husband came up behind me, tapped me on the shoulder as they were leaving and said I was reported to Star Fleet for spying!

Only ones I've seen are one of my co-workers had a Fruits Basket manga, saying its the only one she likes (sheesh, talk about narrow-minded >_>) and one day, one of my managers commented on my Trigun hoodie (its a black one with Kuroneko on it and green kanji)

Yeah, its not bad when they actually take the time to stop blathering away and acknowledge you, y'know? It really sucke when they totally ignore you, especially when you need to tell them something or whatever. And I HATE those fucking bluetooth wearing mother fuckers >:(

They are totally my fave characters ever in that series!! And Monta, I love that little monkey boy!! And the fact that in the anime, Yamaguchi Kappei does his voice! <333 Yeah, I love that they do become part of the team, I want to get this whole manga series, I am addicted! But One Piece always seems to take first priority nowadays haha <3

Hahaha, awww that sounds awesome! XD When I worked at the printlab at my school, I would print out signs for printers or computers that were broken, and it would usually be One Piece related, since it didn't get much love at that school....
