That's what makes it so . . . so . . . very . . . gaaah!

Because it's completely earnest and postive about its Christian message--it's not a "joke" Christmas card, but . . . it's a filk of "My Humps". The cognitive dissonance astounds me.

Which astounds me the most. There was someone earnest enough in their Christian faith who STILL sat through the original song and said, "You know what I could do with this song?"

I would think, knowing me, such dichotomy would be run of the mill for you guys.

I'm bothered less by the earnest adaptation of the original lyrics than I am by the fact that anyone had the bad taste to think it would be a good idea.
