That movie annoyed me so much when it first came out because I went into it as a fan of the book and being used to how much the Harry Potter movies stay true to the books. Now whenever I see a movie based on a book that I've read, I try and think of it as 'just a movie' thanks to Ella Enchanted the movie.
Mind you, even the most recent Harry Potter films are veering away from the books :( Yeah, 'just a movie' is probably the best way to view it - apparently the Eragon film was completely different to the book too...
Yeah, that's why I was so surprised they kept David Yates on as director after he did the fifth which I thought was the worst - then again, the fourth is my favorite and I've heard a lot of people say that they hate that one lol
I've never read or seen Eragon so I wouldn't know but it makes sense given the thickness of that book. Which is why I think I had such a hard time understanding all the changes they made to Ella Enchanted, because it's not that long of a book unlike some of the other books they turn into movies.
YOU! I don't know you, but I am in complete agreement with your entry, and I love the music you were listening to at the time. Also, I really love the colors for your journal.
As far as Ella Enchanted is concerned, that movie was sooooooo disappointing. It's been years since I've read the book, and I haven't seen the movie since it was in theatres, but I'm still upset that they left out my personal favorite scene in the novel- the scene with Hattie's wig.
So basically, I just stopped by to tell you to keep being awesome. :)
