I miss my garden something terrible. At Powell's I saw the gardening books and I got a little surge of excitement that in only 8 weeks or so I can get away with starting seeds! These look so yummy.

Most of our greens were eaten by bugs, but I ate the ones that weren't too chewed up. I like them sauteed in olive oil with garlic.

Mmmmmm. I love beets. In fact, I should either roast some or make borscht today. Or just warm some up (it's too cold in our kitchen to just eat them out of the packet).
