Tonight Otto, after seeing Henry playing with his whistle a few minutes earlier and not able to find it, asked me "did Henry eat my whistle?"

Please note, this is a wooden train whistle roughly 1.5"x1.5"x4".

I guess he's noticed that Henry likes to eat, hahahaaa!

I've taken to responding to children that ask me questions with obvious answers by saying "are you kidding?" I know it's not technically what a trained teacher is expected to do, but I can't seem to help it. It's become an epidemic, especially when they ask me for the 426th time where to turn a reading paper in. Uh, the shelf marked reading right next to your hand.

I would have been just as cold to my Otto, I'm afraid.
