We had a great day. Sean made me pancakes and bacon for breakfast, and I got to take a nice leisurely bath. Then we went out to check out a couple of estate sales (not much exciting, but I did get a rusty old outer space themed lunchbox from the 60s) and stopped by Jerry's to look at light fixtures. We've been making lots of "just looking" trips

It reminds me of a doorstop in the book I just got, Lote Jansdotter's Simple Sewing. It makes me think maybe you could add some weight to these (Lotte's uses rice or beans and has a handle on top, too, but isn't as nicely shaped as yours) and make a cute doorstop. If you needed one.

which are you favorite blue flowers?!

I'm not sure! They're this low shrub/ground cover with very short little dark green leaves and tiny little bright blue flowers all over. I see them all over town. We need to figure out what they're called.
