I say, roll on, tattoo. (Not roll-on tattoo, that would be silly. But, you know, go for it.)
As for the phones, my vote is that if you're happy with Sprint, then go for the iTouch. My friends who have iPhones love it not so much for the phone capability as for the web stuff, and they do complain about AT&T's network in Chicago.
If I ever have money again, I'll probably go Android. But I'm already with T-Mobile, anyway.
eta: ain't no shame in being someone who'd rather be part of a pair than a single. ♥
Ah, the AT&T thing is good to know, thanks! I was worried about whether the signal would be any good. Luckily, Sprint doesn't seem to have any issues in that regard - at least not near my apartment.
And re: roll-on tattoo: a friend of mine who plans on getting tattooed soon says that he's gonna get a temporary one first and try it out for a couple weeks, and if he's happy with it then he'll go ahead with the permanent one. So, you know, not such a silly idea! Hee!
Just got the iPhone Sunday and already can't imagine life without it. You can dl websites to it with instapaper--fic on the bus without waiting for dls or in the subway with no connectivity. :D Highly recommended. And my hubby says that breaking contracts doesn't cost as much as it used to--that stuff is regulated now.
Wow, that sounds amazing. I can only imagine what mischief I could get up to with the entire intarwebs at my disposal 24/7. :D And I will definitely look into the cost of breaking my Sprint contract. I had just assumed it was really expensive, but it's possible they do things differently these days. Thanks for the tip!
I love my Android G1, but service is restricted to T-Mobile and AT&T.
And yeah, turning 30 was weird. Not bad, really, but it was hard to adjust to not being "in my 20s" anymore. (Also, it felt like the warranty ran out on my body, but those are my issues. *g*)
