Muffins! I realized I forgot to mention the muffins right as I was making up a batch for breakfast this morning, heh. Or, uhm, a not particularly early lunch...
And the not getting you to your plane! Yes, you should definitely post more--just in case you have recently seen me, and I have already forgotten all the things I should have updated about.
I DROVE ON THAT FOR A GOOD 20 MINUTES AT LEAST. AND HEARD THE THUDDING AND FELT THE SWERVING AND NEVER ONCE THOUGHT "MAYBE I SHOULD CHECK MY TIRES!"
Huh...somehow that part got left out of the memo I got...but hey, as long as your car still drives no biggie, hee.
(Mojitos....mmmmmm....we did buy more of that candy champagne for New years. ;D)

Er, it's possible that maybe I was really embarrassed about having driven for so long on a flat tire and I just kinda forgot to mention that part? Hee!
we did buy more of that candy champagne for New years.
Excellent! I did too, actually! Not for New Years, though; it's still unopened in my fridge. I'm saving it for the next special occasion. (*kof*possiblyFebruary*kof*)
At least you got some days in there to slow it down, 'cause that is one heck of a bustling holiday. I'm so glad you made time to come up and see our place! You should definitely see the place when there isn't snow everywhere though, so please visit again. We promise to have another room done!
And as for the tire thing, it would be different if it popped while you were moving. But driving on uneven snowy roads and starting off with it flat, I can see where someone might not realize it. I promise not to tease you about it. I can't stop DB though. ;)
Did I mention thanks for the motivation to finish that room, and for helping with the decorating? (It's *really* nice to not be sleeping in the living room.)
I would love to visit you guys again! Maybe I can work out another trip sometime before VividCon? (And just like before, feel free to use me as motivation if you want, but I'm not actually gonna care whether you've finished another room or not, hee!)
And yeah, I'm pretty sure my tire started off flat. I don't think it was quite as bad as it was in the picture when I first started driving; it probably had a small puncture that just kept getting worse and worse. It wasn't really noticeable at the beginning of the drive. Thanks for refraining from laughing at me. :)
I imagine that after ... er, how many years? of having your bed in the living room, it's pretty sweet to finally have your own sleeping space! And I had a lot of fun helping you guys. If you *are* in the middle of another renovation during my next visit, I can totally assemble more furniture for you or give opinions on color schemes. :D
