5) BSG OMG!!!
9) Please don't ever be intimidated about commenting in my journal (or, hell, anyplace else, for that matter). You are smart and charming and I'd love to "hear your voice" more often.

BSG!! Am still reeling from the season premiere.
Thanks for the reassurance. :) I will try to be less intimidated and more talky.

Seriously, if you could've been in my brain three or four years ago and seen me Mary Sueing my way into Fraser's life...although in my case, it was a three-way thing going on with me, Fraser, and Vecchio. On account of, why settle for one when you can have both?
It's funny. I started off in the fandom totally smitten with Fraser, and while I loved Vecchio (and, significantly, believed that Fraser loved him, and not in a brotherly sort of way), I was really All About the Mountie. But by the time I'd made "Big Man on Mulberry Street", I found I suddenly had just as much of a thing for Ray, if not more so. Fraser'd be a hot fling, I think, but RayV is marriage material.

I DO THE THREE-WAY THING TOO. No shit. For exactly the same reason. :) Yup, me and Fraser and Ray, all enjoying the benefits of sharing.
And I totally agree with you about the hot fling vs. the marriage material. They both have their baggage, but the difference is that Ray's learned how to deal with his and still be a human being; still love and take care of and give himself to other people without his needs overwhelming theirs. Whereas Fraser, for all his many many MANY good qualities - his gorgeousness and tenderness and adorable naivete (only part of which is faked) and honorableness and intelligence and loyalty and yeah I'm gonna stop here cause otherwise I'd be typing all day - Fraser is ... needy. Which sounds like an odd thing to say about a police officer who always puts other people first and has never demanded a single thing from anybody. But romantically, I believe it's accurate. Fraser is all repress-repress-repress until everything just bursts; he's been an incredibly lonely person for much of his life and ( ... )

I guess I'm lucky in that respect; I wouldn't have the first clue where to find BSG spoilers, so I couldn't be tempted even if I wanted to be.
Season 2! SO EXCITED! Wheeee!

Hee, you should definitely plan to pimp me some on dS at VVC at the very least. I have some Farscape and Dr. Who at home to try and get in before then, but I'm really curious to see if my memory of the wolfdog's coolness holds up, and of course I would undoubtedly being seeing the other two a little differently this time around. Plus Leoben!--I practically have to watch it. ;D

dS pimping! YAAAAY! Oh, I cannot wait for you to meet (or re-meet) the Mountie. Although now I am all torn, because you have Farscape waiting for you, and I certainly don't want to put that on hold. Meep! Conflict between two of My Shows! Cannot choose! *head explodes*
The wolfdog is mighty cool. And seriously, you will absolutely fall in love with the Mountie. Everyone does. Just so you know, Leoben is not in the episodes I have; he is the second Ray who comes along in Seasons 3 and 4. I have Seasons 1 and 2 with the first Ray, played by David Marciano (see icon). But you will love the first Ray too. The Mountie love hits you *hard* and immediately and overwhelmingly; the Ray love builds slow and deep, and the Dief love is OMGPUPPY! You have much to look forward to. :)
