Rose and Bernard!

I am so loving their love story! The look on his face when he was down on one knee expressing his love was just so beautiful and moving. And I love the little segment near the end showing the characters in their various quiet, peaceful moments. Very satisfying ep!

I loved the fact that they were actually newlyweds on their honeymoon, rather than a long-standing couple, as I had originally thought must be.

And I also love her knowing John's secret. I don't *think* *anyone* else knows...

And I love the fact that at least Bernard was in his mid-50s, had never been in love, and had been looking for a soul mate all his life. And he knew within five minutes of meeting Rose that he had found her. *sigh* Gives all us oldsters hope. :-) Even YS was touched by their story. An hour later when I was tucking him in and saying goodnight he said "I really enjoyed tonight's episode. I think Rose and Bernard are a good couple. It made me feel good." Smart lad. And smart of the producers to finally give us all a feel good ep.

This was the first episode in a couple of weeks that I actually watched and I wasn't as pleased with it. There were a few good moments; I really liked the interaction between Charlie and Eko. But for the most part, it just felt like every other episode, nothing really new or interesting. Honestly, I only watched it because Wayne Pygram (the faith healer) was on. I'm ludicrously loyal to my Farscape guys, but there it is.

Oh, THAT was Wayne Pygram???? I saw his name in the credits, commented to YS "That's Scorpius!!!" and then promptly forgot to look for him. And there is nothing wrong with being ludicrously loyal to our Farscape guys. :-)

I had forgotten about the flashback element, so when I saw that he was going to be on, I figured they'd make him one of the Others and probably kill him, so I was very happy to see him being not-a-badguy.

It's a month since you updated? I have not been around LJ lately myself and try to catch up on things. Is everything all right? I miss you around you know.

Oh, dear, you are sweet to notice! While I do try to ready my friends' posts every day and comment when I can, I guess it has been a month since I updated my own LJ, but it has been a very busy month, with little to no time to do anything *I* want to do. I will try to update this week, though. I'm hoping for some good news to report, but don't want to jinx it. ;-)
