Sorry about new eye problems.
If Nanna permits, perhaps a warm (not hot) small compress to the area will help.

**Call the vet and ask about this. Don't wait and let it go. A collection of blood near the eye may cause pressure on the eye.
If your mum can't act, you can help her as you do so often. ♥ ♥

Also, I don't know Denmark laws, but here, a report would go to the police, regardless of any other report that is filed.

The police are the ones who enforce laws, including any anti-bite, anti-violent animals laws.
Make a police report. Please.

Hugs ♥ ♥

Aw I'm sorry to hear Nanna is having more problems. Please call the vet, call the police. This could be a major danger not just to your mum but also to the other children and dogs in the area. I know here in the states its considered abuse to keep fighting dogs. Or at least I'm pretty sure it is.

ITA.

There should be a complaint to the police so they know there is a dangerous dog, where it is and what it did. Also, the people who have the dog will know that they are known to law enforcement.

I would definitely say call the police. It's absolutely awful that people keep dangerous dogs like this without muzzles and leads on, as you said, next time it could be a child.

I really hope Nanna is okay! Your mum must be so worried and shaken up. Lots of love to them both, and to you! *big hugs*

Ohhh, no!! Poor Nanna and Mum!

They should be reported! Dogs like that are a menace - and dangerous to other people.

*HUGS*

I only just caught up on this story...

Dog owners like that make me SO angry. I don't think that 'fighting dogs' are dangerous or violent to begin with - it's the owners that don't handle their dogs correctly and encourage that behaviour. My in-laws used to own a 'fighting dog' and he was the sweetest dog, so cuddly and affectionate. And when you own a dog that doesn't react well to other dogs or people, you just have to take precautions! So irresponsible not to!

There's a primary school across the street from where we live and one of the people in our street always lets his dog outside in his yard (that is not fenced in) without any supervision. It's a big dog too - we're just waiting to catch him at it so we can actually report it to the police because the dog tends to bark and growl at people, although so far it hasn't attacked anyone but you don't really wanna wait until one of the kids going home from school gets bitten, right?

I hope you can sort all of this out *hugs*
