Currently (mostly because I've been watching a great deal of it on Hulu when I'm too tired to do anything) I'd like to do Gaara from Naruto. The costume and the makeup are pretty simple, it's the flipping huge gourd of sand that would be a pain.

Returning from FanExpo, I've decided that I might also go with Wolverine or Mario.

There aren't that many swarthy, blocky characters.

well, since my attempt at full metal colossus was an epic FAIL, I think I would have to go back towards more coverage with Big Guy (of big guy and rusty).

Then again, that would probably also get me ostracized as a hack job stormtrooper.

In which case we could just hang out together.
