Isn't it though! And it was worse writing it! That's why I was all happy with this one and thought "This is too freaky, I gotta share this one out" ^__^ This was one of those fics that makes me think there's some truth to the idea of stories looking for someone to tell them - writing this literally felt like the story had taken over my fingers and bypassed the rest of me, so I was basically sitting there watching the story writing itself across the monitor with little idea of what was coming. Yipes! (I love it when that happens! ^___^ )

I know that feeling! I think of it as "the story ran away with my mind and I couldn´t catch up until it was finished"
Getting shanghai-ed by a story...kinda scary, but very cool!

happened to me yesterday. I sat there typing, already had a rough cocnept for a drabble in mind, then I look at the screen and realize
1) this is not a drabble anymore
2) I completely ignored the whole point of my original idea
3) ....this person wasn´t even supposed to be appear here

It feels so much like 'automatic writing' that I think of it as 'channelling' the story -- hence my increasing suspicion that the Australians were right ^_~ The only problem with it is occasionally the story spills out details that I, supposedly the author :-P, didn't yet know about. That happened here. As if I don't have enough to do already.... >.<

Er, yeah.... Uh, after I wrote the fic, the conversation kinda went like this... "Wait wait wait, WTF is this about sex pollen?!" "Didn't I mention that?" "NO!" "I'm sure I mentioned that."
