Misc. Christmas Countdown Fill

Karunya's post (go read that first-it's CUTE!!) helped me make a little sense of the schedule. What I've gotten is that we missed a day somewhere around the 3rd or 4th (depending upon where you live), so I'm putting up another Christmas ficlet today. That way, even if they didn't all go up when they were supposed to, we still have the right number

Oh man, I think I've NEVER caught myself praying for fictional characters before. This was too real and too right to be fiction. What a roller coaster! And what a happy ending!

Thank you adorable Christmas fanfiction for putting right what once went wrong! I knew that card JJ stashed away would come back to haunt/help them! Poor thing must have been on a roller coaster of inanimate-object-emotions, probably just about to be given to its intended or almost thrown out more times than can be counted.

I'm almost afraid to ask, but, uh, how long was Piper out/incommunicado? And who's Jay's Godfather again?

Oh lord, the "Christmas Miracle" line had me thinking he was deposited there by Santa, who warned him what was happening to Hart. Which led to an unrelated image of JJ under a tree - tied up in a bow, half-escaped and spitting out the gag - going "You just missed him, I swear!"

as far as i know, canon hasn't officially given the twins godparents, so i've just kinda made some assumptions. in my fanon piper and iris are irey's godparents, and dick grayson and donna troy are jai's. i think the four of them seem like logical choices. to the best of my knowledge they were all alive and speaking to the wests when the twins were born ;)

and i love the mental images conjured by your strange mind. that could totally become some artses or a fic.

forgot to answer your first question, sorry -_-
i'm not really sure how long piper was sitting alone in his depressed/infect-y misery. bet i can puzzle that out though.

let's see...i set the fic shortly after blackest night (since piper's still got the libra-stab wound), it goes through the course of the holiday 'season' so let's say december. he was doing okay at the start of the month, but then he finds the card...we'll say his emo-coma lasted about a week before his friends finally found him on christmas eve.
