That's a good thing because it can take me some time between fics and I would hate for you to starve to death or be sitting in a puddle and flunk out of school. So don't do that ^__^
"Could they be doing it to make you stay the Pied Piper?"
Ouch, that's a terrible thought. Especially since Piper is so focused on getting away from them on his own terms, he hasn't really considered their motivations at all.
But where was it all coming from?
That's always a question in comic-book land. What do the mega-corps that fund the gadget superheroes and supervillains Make that earns enough money to support them?
Piper covered his face again, laughing, then reached into the closet and withdrew a box that none of his other boyfriends had ever learned about. "I'll let you pick the lock."
That's the perfect kind of foreplay for Trickster -- give him a challenge. And as cute as it is, this should be a point of friction between them; Piper's an introvert, Trickster is definitely *not*.
A name caught his eye and he stared at it, then shook his head and photographed it, "And there's another one who hasn't got a clue, I'm sure. We never want to believe it if it's our families, especially if it's true."Piper's folks are in

No, he hasn't considered why they haven't given back any of the money. He figures they just love money that much. He's... more right than he knows.
I think Wayne Enterprises is the most believably developed. They have a very diverse portfolio, covering a number of industries that would yield the requisite income for Bruce Wayne. Of the others, yeahhhhh good question. Probably not publishing :B
It provides them lots of friction.............. :3

G-Men! Five incredible young people with super-powers! .....wait, that's the wrong script...
I really like where you're going with this, Tricks digging into Pips family and clearly finding not nice things, and (like someone before me said, I believe) how things in Happyverse change the flow of canon in subtle ways.
Yes, I suck at comments. Anyways, great update, looking forward to more very eagerly. Kudos!

We will definitely find out more about both situations. The effects of the Pipster hook-up are already rippling out through their universe.
I'm glad you're enjoying it ^__^
