Oh wow!~ You realy have the eyes.. your Piper just has this expression of I know what yu are thinking and I am good at what I do don't mess with me. Little Gio hanging from the Flute and the pose... mm I love it when you two love you just make me squiggle and amaze, this hair style is relly just right feeling for Piper.

Mmh I think this is going to be one of the Fanart-Cosplay-references of the photos of me (or my GF XD) in Piper costume and my two rats (as soon as they are in the new flat and tame^^). (they look identically and not at all like Gio, Rathaniel and Hamelin although one is named Giovanni^^)

BTW: I really wanted to do your 'the show must go on' as a Cosplay comic but it's kinda difficult to find the wonderful dark alleys you've drawn :)

Considering that the "proper" word is itself a loanword mugged from another language in a dark alley at night, feel no shame whatsoever ^_~ (it's 'bandolier', but I too like 'breast-belt' better. It makes inner-Piper blush and roll his eyes XD )

Piper's rats are so awesome. XD I love how Gio is hanging off the flute while Rathaniel is on his head, and Hamelin is on his shoulders.
I'm sure there were limited places, but it matches them so well. :D

The preferred places of the rats was determined then the pose agreed upon, though I think most often for simple movement Rathaniel will move to his other shoulder and allow Gio his place on Hart's head.
