Fanart Again: FF Logo pic

Hey, I know I said we'd upload the logo art larger... I forgot... So here it is ^^. As always larger version available at my dA.
Nothing new yet though I'm afraid :).

We did the logo on a whim. I was looking at the pic and stated the logo would go there and viola we suddenly had a logo in minutes. The drawing itself was a teeeeeny tiny pencil that was actually inked over in ballpoint. (Which is soooo not what we normally do by the way). Then we scanned it, converted to B&W, tweaked it to full black. (Now we've got what the image should have looked like if we hadn't cut corners with the scribbling and the ballpoint). convert back to color (all in photoshop I use 6, my partner uses cs-3). Make a new layer beneath the lineart. Switch the line art layer to screen. Then go to the layer beneath and create a gradient with the gradient tool. I played with my colors for about two hours until I was happy.

Flow-y-ness of the capes for the logo looks very Amano-ish, so that's made of win since he did the art for the logos on the games (more win, since Amano is like my fave artist everer). <3 Nice gradient work, too.
