Honestly... I dunno. Canadian, yes. Scottish, sure. British, though... that's a hard standard. Do you know the words to "Rule, Brittania?"

"Countrycide" is actually the sixth episode of Torchwood's first season. Its second season hasn't begun yet. So you're only half a dozen episodes behind where the BBC left off. *grin*
