True! I hold out hope for the day when some new site usurps LJ - I love the long-form style and the easy & trustworthy privacy settings, but LJ's lost 90% of its users (as far as I see) by not updating anything since 2005.

Indeed, I still read, although the only person on my list who posts regularly is Beth :) Becca is second, and occasionally I get a shane and a JR. But I do yearn for every bit of contact from all of you lovely people, so even though I'm terrible at writing anything, I'd be sad if you all stopped :)

i sign on, like, every few months or so. it's rare, but when i'm here, i always check up on everybody (read: stalk the interesting people!) to see how they're doing. i'm trying to write more, myself.
