Wordpress is awesome - that is what my site runs on as well. I'll make sure to add your syndication feed and comment @ the site :)

i've been thinking about making the same move lately. i'm glad we'll still be able to keep up with your blog via the feed. could you explain why you wouldn't see comments on the lj feed?

best of luck with your new venture!

i don't get notifications of comments posted to the feed, as if it was my journal. basically, if someone comments there, i won't see it, unless i explicitly go back and look, and i really don't plan to.

i see, so you'll get email notifications of comments posted at the blog, but not the feed. thanks for the clarification!

hi,
i rarely comment because i rarely have anything of any substance to say, but i just wanted to say that i've read your LJ for a long time & really admire you and your work and life and pretty much everything about you :-)
so i've just added your new blog to my "check daily" list, right under the sartorialist!

thanks for the inspiration and the glimpses into your life :-)

you will be missed on here, but I'm thankful I can still get your feed so I've quickly added it.

I mean I can google it but if you wouldn't mind telling me the advantages that'd be great :)

-you get A LOT more control over your blog in a myraid of ways. some people don't want that much control, so LJ works for them. it would take forever for me to tell you, so yes, googling it would be a good idea.

-it's not on livejournal. i feel i've outgrown LJ, in general.

-i wanted a stand-alone blog. i run it off my own server.
