Coincidentally or not, the week of the election my gallbladder started hurting more, and pretty much all the time. Then on Thursday morning I woke up very nauseated and couldn't keep anything down. I decided to give it a day, just to see if it was only a stomach bug or something. But when I felt no better Friday morning--worse, actually, because

Ugh. Glad they caught it in time/before sepsis, because that would have been SO much worse. Feel better soon :/

Glad to hear that everything went well. It's amazing how fast they let you out now. When I had my hysterectomy I was in the hospital for three days, with six weeks sick leave. And that was vaginally! Of course, that was almost forty years ago. *g*

I really loved Wolf Hall, though for some reason could not get into Bring Up the Bodies. I've often thought of trying again at some point.
