Weekend accomplishments

Thursday and Friday I was in New Orleans, which I've already written about. Saturday was just the basics: breakfast, pharmacy, Rouse's. I'm still avoiding going into Lafayette, especially during the last weekend of Carnival. David made zucchini fritters for supper and I finished the newest episode of Tokyo Vice and watched the new True Detective:

Sure, why not. You just grind it up in a food processor and add some mayo and seasonings.

Omg mind blown! Deviled ham is very Venezuelan, too, but I rarely buy it. However we still have some frozen ham from Christmastime we got tired of. Thank you! I will be making it some time & impressing my family and ancestors.

Really, I had no idea. Funny how American canned meats get associated with certain places. Like Spam in Hawaii.
