I signed up with Prolific, which I learned about from taz_39. It's one of those places where you can participate in research studies for money. The first one I took was about stem cell meat, so I got to think about how I actually feel about lab-grown hamburger patties. Turns out it's "slightly squicked out, but hey if it will keep me from having to eat

I did prolific surveys for a while! It was someone here who got me into it…I’ve forgotten who.

I never really knew that caftans spoke to me so clearly until looking at that site. All so pretty!! And that pattern is fab, I hope she gets to come live with you soon.

You already got to take one?? I'm jealous! They've only sent me one so far and I couldn't take it because of the ISP thing. Sigh. Glad it's a good experience so far though!

Yes, I was surprised! They did say initially there was a wait list, but then as soon as I finished all the sign up rigmarole it was like okay, here's a survey you can take. All I can think is I'm older and maybe they need more Gen X participants? There's not nearly as much of us as there are the two generations we're between. But conversely that also means companies usually don't give a shit what we think about anything, so I dunno!
