Weekend accomplishments

SaturdayWoke up early and took Penny out to pee, then went back to sleep for a couple hours. Made fried eggs and toast for Mom and me. Went to the carwash (vacuum only, it's been a dry week and the lovebugs fucked off when the daytime highs shot back up to the 90s) and the grocery store. Home, did a couple loads of towels and ran the sweeper over

I just had lunch, but seeing all of your food photos is making me hungry all over again! YUM. Thanks for the tip on the whipped butter, too. It gives me an idea for honey butter. I assume you beat the butter & milk when they are close to room temperature?

The butter yes, take it out of the fridge for a while. The milk, there isn't enough to matter (plus it's a liquid), I just took it out of the fridge and used it. I actually thought of adding some honey, but supermarket muffins are generally pretty sweet already so I decided against it.
