It was... Nala, right?

Don't worry about forgetting things. It was only a day after all... I forgot I was a Hokage. Not completely important... But it was something that meant a lot to me.

Exactly right. And you're Minato, the one with the puppy. How's he doing, by the way?

It not so much about forgetting things, it's forgetting the specific things. I forgot...some events that are very important to me. Forgetting that would change everything. But a Hokage? What is that?

A Hokage is a leader of sorts. Hero of the village.

I gave my life to ensure the safety of my village... I forgot all about that. It did feel... Strange.

Such a thing...it's very brave.

I forgot that my mate is still alive. When I was younger, I was told that he had died. As I grew older, our...king did some things that almost destroyed our home. I left to find help -- and I ended up finding my mate. He ended up saving us. And I forgot all about that.

It's not an easy thing for me to think about. Especially with...the old king here.

...so you've forgotten some very important things as well...

Anyway, don't be sad, Nala. It happened to everyone here and I've bought you something to cheer you up.

*hands her a leg of antelope*

You're right. It's just...my memories are important to me, especially in this place.

Is that antelope?! For me! Ah, thank you Kamui!

Yes, I understand. Especially since the memories you lost were of the one you love. I'm glad you got them back.

Yes, it's antelope. I promised to give you some, didn't I? I have more if you're still hungry. I would have brought you the whole thing but it would have scared some people to see me carrying around a dead antelope. *laughs a little* Though the expressions on their faces would have been fun to see.

And I appreciate it. People were quite alarmed to see the deer in the kitchen, but it would have been interesting to see the reaction. I wonder if any of them have seen an antelope before.

But the event got to you too, didn't it? Are you alright?

We had plenty of fires already.

That event wasn't quite pleasant, to say the least.

[ooc; Scar? Apologize? I don't think he even knows the word XD]

That's why I'm hoping the mansion's apparent need for fire starters has been satisfied. Or it starts picking up people with better sense.

For once I agree with you. It certainly took a great weight of your shoulders though, didn't it?

(OOC: Probably not. But she's going to bug him anyway, because it's fun.)

And, for once, I agree with you.

You have no idea.

[ooc; quick! They must disagree on something D:]

Of course, there was always the option of not doing it in the first place. Then your conscience would be clear, and you could be home and still alive right now.

(OOC: Will that do? XD)

I'm curious as to whether you mean figuratively or literally. Normally I'd assume figuratively, but I've heard some things since I first got here that suggest you probably mean the latter . . .

About the fire stuff? Yeah, I mean literally. We have quite a few people who like to light things on fire. It's usually not something that's going to hurt anyone, but it gets old after a while.

Hmm,I could have sworn I've seen you before. But you're one of the newcomers, right?

It would get old after a while.

Yeah, I'm new, but . . . I wouldn't be very surprised if you've seen someone like me before. My name's Edward Elric, by the way.

My name is Nala. I haven't been welcoming people like I usually try to do, but I hope you're settling in alright. It's always nice to meet someone who isn't scared of me at first sight.

We have a few people here who are fond of setting fires when they're bored. It's rather disruptive, really.
