*waves Is Alive flag* Do they make those flags? I need to order, like, a lot.

I just thought I'd kind of let anyone who cares know what I've been up to and why this LJ has been so dead lately.

FIRST of all, if you originally added me because of JE or whatever, then I can't promise I'll be translating anything JE-related any time soon.

SECONDLY, ( Read more... )

hi~ thanks for the heads up. no worries! I've visited your real blog a few times over the last few months, when you changed fandom XDD I still enjoyed what u had to say, eventhough it's no longer about Ryo. Actually, I think I started visiting it because I like the way you fangirled over him. Sadly u deleted all ur old stuff recently. haha..

you know, you're very interesting because u represent (or ur writings represent) very vividly the fragile-ness of fandom. I'm not imposing any views, that feeling just hits me hard when I read ur stuff ^_^ thanks for this update. happy kpop fangirling!!

Omg, I'm shocked people actually remember I exist...XD;;; Thank you! :D I haven't deleted anything, my old stuff is all at http://xxrin.blog68.fc2.com ^^ I just changed blogs because I got sick of the old one. D:

I'm trying to decide if representing the fragility of fandom is a good or bad thing...:P Haha I think studying fans in general is fascinating though. I could write a thesis on it. In fact I think I might someday. XD Anyway, thank you very much for acknowledging my existence~ XD ♥♥

its a very good thing, trust me ^_^ it makes me realise I just need to ignore the stupidity and childishness that comes with the fun of fandom, because I too, will move on to something else one day. muahaha..

yep, studying fans is very interesting, ppl tend to lose their 'inhibition' when they take the role as a fangirl XDD I wud love to read ur thesis. tks for the link, I usually access ur real blog tru ur profile page, hence I lost the old link. ^__^ thanks for the translations you use to do. I enjoyed reading them then!!

"Stupidity and childishness"....;__; Somehow it doesn't feel like a good thing. XD

Haha I will try to do a JE translation sometime in the future, I still haven't finished my K8 translation project among others...so yeah :) Don't lose hope yet! XD And thanks a lot again ^^ ♥

Hi. *waves* I remember dropping by your old fc2 blog several times and would read about Donghae, lol. I'm recently getting into the Kpop fandom aka SHINee - the noona lovers, DBSK, and Big Bang too so somehow I got introduced with Kpop when you started talking about Suju. XDD

This reminds me that I have to stalk read your new blog more. I think we're kinda getting into the same phase cos right now there's just too many awesome stuff I'm discovering in the K-side.:P Though I still adore Ryo and some things about my old fandom, my heart is just too easy to please, thus the additional lovelies. :P

Haha another companion! :D I remember when I first started crossing over (ooh I love how it sounds all cult-y, "crossing over") I was really surprised by the amount of ex-JE fans in the SuJu fandom. I can't really appreciate SHINee's music but yeah, DBSK and Big Bang are quite win. :D MWAHAHA my SuJu conversion had far-reaching effects I see. :'D

OH yeah, then definitely check out my recent post on Kpop fans! :D It's one of the things that scares me most about the K-side, but one of the things I love most as well. The pride you can feel being a fan of a group. ^^ But yeah, I think what Ryo needs to do right now is get a shocking (but good) haircut, then I might start paying attention to him again~ XD

Oh hai! :D Ooh, I recently got into the DBSK fandom myself, which I blame nearly entirely on the 4-minute wonder that is the Mirotic PV. Hurhur.

plus there's nothing like watching stuff in a language you can actually understand (but not English, I don't know why. life is mysterious that way).
LOL. Ryusei is so much crack/drama love. And Ryo working at a porn video store. So plausible :p

MIROTICCCCCCCCCCCCCCC. ♥♥♥ I am so addicted to that song. It is my drug. It's the top-played song on my iTunes and I've played it more than twice as many times as the second-most played song. And I'm not sick of it yet. It's crazy.

I agree, Ryuusei did not disappoint! :D I think if it did I'd be a lot more out of the JE fandom than I already am. :( But yeah, Ryo seems to come alive in those scenes involving porn, LOL. I'm still wondering how he took the Leah Dizon marriage news. XD

And the PV never gets old with me. xDDD It IS crazy.

Yeah, and it even keeps getting better, OMG. At some point, you begin having this fear that it'll lose momentum but it hasn't so far. LOL @ host's driver! Taisuke :p Haha poor Ryo. He might've gone on a right drinking session with Yoko after he heard the news :p

Have you seen the chibi gifs some fan made of the guys from the PV? They're like AMAZING....they look EXACTLY like the guys, from the teeniest choreography detail to the little quirks the guys have while performing! You can see Junsu's and Jaejoong's on my blog sidebar, and the rest are over at dbsg from a few days ago. :D

Haha Ryuusei did lose a little momentum for me one or two episodes ago...where the episode ended and I was kinda like "...What? Already? Wasn't something supposed to have happened?" Though the crack and fun was great, but it seemed like the producers were drawing it out too much and forgetting about the main storyline. Things are looking like they're gonna pick up now tho so I'm really looking forward to it :D OHOH. Ryo's "O.T.G. OTAGAI SAMA." HAHAHAHAHA I could have died laughing.

hi...yes, i guess it's been some times that you haven't updated your LJ...

moving fandom...?? me myself did that about one year ago...hahaha...but it was different...on the contrary...i moved from korean to japanese...from a k-drama freak to jdorama...and from there i knew JE...
i don't know about music, maybe it is too subjective thing, but yes, sometimes JE musics are not really variative...

but about drama and acting...japanese is waaaayyy more variative...so does JE compare to SM...XD

Ryo in Ryusei is LLLOVEEE....

Haha I agree with you about dramas, Japanese dramas are waaaay better than Korean ones. :) K-dramas tend to recycle the same old plot again and again and again...J-dramas are a lot more fast-moving and original. :D Music-wise though, if we're talking about SM vs JE, SM wins hands down. JE kind of produces songs that they reckon JE fangirls will like, but SM comes out with songs that have actual quality, for the masses. Even more so with JYP which produces Wonder Girls and Big Bang.

GO ARIAKE THREE. XDD
