What the--Toshiya, you're such a TEASE. I love the image of Toshiya as a forest spirit, and love it even more when he said all Nagano boys can swim. Country boy XD

Haha, it's weird, I'm noticing how well the pictures of Toshiya over at mrbassisto actually help me see this story a lot better. Or just see Tohiya better. It's suddenly so easy to see Toshiya with wet hair and him drying it and sending one of his special little playful smiles Kaoru's way. I think I'm also having some Kaoru epiphany here because I'm just going "!!!! this is SO him!" when I read it. With him muttering and him with his cigarette trying to put an end to all this silence he personally starts to find a little too bothering and him going all petrified with Toshiya breathing all over him. And also the way he wants to move back and give Toshiya space to get his own phone. But things aren't so simple with Toshiya, are they!
Toshiya makes a silent offer Kaoru is stupid enough not to grasp in all its meanings out of fear! Hahahaa! Oh Kaoru, Kaoru

lovely as usual... i remember reading an entry before with explosions in the sky theme as well... ill listen to it tomorrow after work... but now i have to sleep. thanks for sharing this. =)

i should say this officially and properly. i love this and i loved this ever since i read it. i love all your kaoru and toshiyas, i do, i always did, and there are some fics of yours that seriously, sincerly just ache and you know that because i tell you this all the time, but for some strange reason i feel the need to say it now on screen too. i loved this so much like you have no idea. there are many instances, like toshiya naked, naked. i mean, i always always saw him very free and careless about these things, very open minded and i feel and always felt that he would totally do these things, swim naked in a forest, unashamed, not ashamed at all. the charcoal drawing comparison is so beautiful it hurts, especially if one imagines (like i do) the actual image. and then other things, kaoru's small hand in Toshiya's big palm... and so on and so forth.

and lastly it works so well with the song and the picture. that picture sets the whole atmosphere.

so beautiful seriously. this is them for me. this.
