Blueberry vodka

Jul 21, 2009 13:32

This weekend, inspired by the success of my lemon vodka, I started the infusing process for blueberry vodka. Two days later it doesn't look like anything is happening. No coloration of the vodka. No bleaching of the blueberries. I hope this works.

And if it does, what do you drink with blueberry vodka?

OK. It's only been about three days so I'll just give it time. The lemon vodka I made began changing color after only a few days.

How did the blueberry vodka taste? How much blueberry flavor?

Thanks for the tips. Blackberry vodka sounds delicious. I had read that when you use fresh fruit you can only infuse for about a week (then the fruit starts going bad). As of last night (day 4), vodka still looks clear so I'm still waiting...
