so this past weekend was the last of Forum. I am oober sad its over, what a wonderful show it was. I have not had such a rewarding experience in along time. I'm sorry not many of your friends showed up.
I have shows and rehearsals constantly and couldn't make any of your show times because they directly conflicted with mine, a guess it's a hazard of doing theatre in Austin.
I know what it's like to have people say they're coming to something but they never show. None of my friends outside of improv ever come to see my improv shows, and I do at least one a week, if not more. I guess I had to realize I had to do the performances for myself and those who did show up, and not dwell on the absence of friends. Plus, sometimes it's harder to please strangers, and those are the people who may eventually higher you for something bigger someday.
I'm glad you had an awesome show, I miss doing scripted theatre sometimes. You'll have more and maybe the next one I won't have conflicts with. Thanks for telling me about it anyway, though.

ok so there may have been a few people this was directed at...but most certainly not you. of course performing for one's self is necessary or we would always be let down...but the thing is i dont get a chance to perform very often and i hardly ever get the lead...so i was doing some heavy venting. i really wish i had a larger crowd but elle and aminya made it all ok:) it was trully an awesome show. im not mad u couldnt make it...at least you were doing theatre and not watching some stupid fucking football game. ugh that was the lamest excuse. hahah anyway thanks for the response!
