I convinced Edward to put away his death traps until Lysander actually screws up (again). Maybe he has changed. I also told him that Pansy made the choice and his role is to stand by her. And send diamonds apparently.

Also, Edward loves the New Years dress, Fleur (and the line about her unfortunate choice of in-laws), and thanks Lysander for his wonderful observations that were absolutely necessary to effectively and completely put Edward's inflated pride in place, despite being wholly unfounded and uncredible. Finally. Edward is now a changed man. Who knew it was so easy to change? Oh, wait. Lysander did, being grown up now and all.
