This is amazing. I've never read this before. I believe so strongly in the act of prayer. Prayer says I'm willing to ask for God to guide my thoughts. I said to Doug the other day that I believe that God welcomes our anger, but not our indifference. So, rage against the night, I guess. My understanding of my relationship with God is informed by astronomy, light years, the speed of sound. And giant squid. That kind of thing. I believe deeply in a creative force and in asking for the ability to perceive grace, mercy, love, and beauty, and to reflect it to other creatures.
