I've been in a fannish mood lately, and especially interested in gaming. Have basically come to the conclusion that a healthy fantasy life is highly useful to facilitate a healthy real life-- or, at least, the former helps keep me from being quite as cranky in the latter.

Hello. Not sure if you remember me; I started that poll back on the sb comm, and you seem nice and interesting. So I thought I'd drop by and say hi. Er... hi! *waves*

Haven't RPed in forver, and can't handle fanfiction, but I'm positive I've channeled SOMEONE for a character. Mainly mannerisms--I have to think in "Firefly" mode to get the voice of one of my characters.

I don't think there's a better example of this than the long-running Unicorn no Seishi/ Forth the Nine Riders Amber DPRG campaign that a friend of mine is the chief artist and one of the chief PCs in.

I needed a psychologist for my YGO AU (fanfic) novel, so I "borrowed" Peter Venkman from Real Ghostbusters. Other than renaming him Piotr Korone (bit of an in-joke, there), he's exactly the same as RGB!Peter.

For last year's NaNo, I swiped Duo Maxwell from Gundam Wing as a template for one of my main characters.
