A History of My Personal Fandom

Jul 01, 2006 15:16

Wow. It's been a while since I posted, hasn't it? *checks her archive* Coming up on one year. I didn't make a single post in all of 2006.

Well, this one's long enough.

Cut for Really Really Long Ramblings about my Non-Involvement in Fandom. Considering the amount of actual participation that I did, this entry shouldn't be this long. *shrugs* )

Ya know pen, I've always wondered about you. theidolhands July 2 2006, 17:54:37 UTC
Anyway, I'm not sure what the point of this entry is. Perhaps to apologize to all of those wonderful authors who have friended me in return for me friending them but have never heard from me? To begin a new phase in my livejournal life; one where I journal about my life and comment about other people's lives? Or is it just to avoid doing the laundry?

That was great. I may have to quote it. Anyway, being the avid blabbermouth that I am on Live Journal, it was really nice to see things from a lurkers point of view. Your always welcome even if you're quiet. Hey, all my "children" can't be loud. I noticed your name on the Trump Live cards and was pleasently surprised, like "Hey, they really do read my journal after all...or at least look at it."

I've just noticed you friending me. Hi. I have been watching PoT for about a week now. I can't find a few eps that I want to see, alas, but I will keep trying.

As pretty and so very gay as it is, it truly does not have what either Snarry or RoyxEd (Fullmetal Alchemist) have. reddwarfer put it best when she said to me that the angst in the aforementioned pairings/fandoms is so high, that you simply have to recharge on the *fluff* that is PoT. Very little plot, hardly any true angst, but so very pretty and fun. So I will play around in it a bit. Lurk, as it were.
