I feel as though I always made time for livejournal entries but things like checking the gossip on people.com and obsessively looking at facebook stuff have completely ruined most chances of expressing whatever on here. plus it's probably been one of the craziest end-of-semester semesters and there's so much work to be done. and of course,

I know exactly what you mean about the Howie Day thing.

I get a lot of crap for disliking when my bands become mainstream. "You're one of those annoying elitists, aren't you?" but there ARE people that change to become popular or when they become popular. My big example is Switchfoot, who added harder guitar riffs to their first single in order to get radio play when rock started coming back. The original version of the song is mysteriously missing those guitar parts. Grrr.

Please write more often, it makes my friends page so much happier.
