A first attempt at nuno felting

This is the most sorry photo of my pleasantly pretty first (well, second, really, but I'm not counting the first) attempt at nuno felting. It looks ghastly, but it's not. Can I blame it on the fact that my real camera isn't working and I had to resort to the phone camera? It really is quite nice. I need to tack down the yarn a bit, but

Oh, Rachel, if you could only see it. It is just so much nicer than this crappy photo. The current plan is to extend the piece and make it into a scarf. (But my plans often change mid-project. heh) I am felting onto gauze, and the gauze strip is considerably longer. We shall see. Dagnabit, anyway, I wish my camera were working.

I still constantly--and I mean CONSTANTLY--think of jumping in on your fiber frolic and merriment. I need more hours in the day and a whole lot more supplies and at least a few more excuses. :)

Hehe I know what the mid-project plan change is like!

I think you are like me - too many crafty ideas! There's so much that I mean to get done in a day and never get around to it!

Thank you! I so wish I could get a decent photo of it, because it's just so much spiffier than this poor photo depicts! Ah, well.
