★ TWO TOPS TREASURE TOUR 2014 ☆

**NOTE: I apologize in advance for details I've missed. There are a lot of things I probably would have remembered if not for the thing that happened at the end of the very last concert. A lot of the tiny details are probably floating around in my head somewhere, so if I remember anything I'll make sure to come back ( Read more... )

Thank you so much for the report!! Takki worked hard and is still so adorable. I hope he'll take care of himself and have a good rest until Countdown. Tsubasa looks healthy so hopefully they'll get to perform together again soon. The Tug of War outcome was unexpected lol! I wonder how Takki did it. It looked like he was just being ultra cute to make Tsubasa laugh so hard he had to give in :D.

And "Tree" is definitely Takki's favourite kouhai to pick on at the moment (like Senga from Kiss my feet 2, or Kawai from ABCZ before him). He gets picked on a lot during the Kabuki backstage footage as well. I would feel a tiny bit pity for the guy if it's not because he himself seems to enjoy Takki's attention :D (just like Senga or Kawai before him lol).

Takki worked so, so hard, and I'm so grateful to him for it. He could have easily canceled the cons, even though we all knew he wouldn't, but the fact that he carried them off so well really moved me. I also think Tsubasa was backstage for every concert, not just the last one, so that must have given him some support, too.

I wonder how Takki did it.In the end, it looked like Tsubasa just surrendered. :) He was pretty emotionally vulnerable from the beginning, so I think he was just happy to goof around on stage with Takki, and for once he didn't care about winning ( ... )

So even when Tsubasa isn't physically present, Takki lets him win. True love right there. ;)

So ranbow married! :D Takizaa is so whipped or Tsubasa was monitoring backstage or Both :D

Both is a safe answer, I feel. :D I really do think he was there backstage for every concert, but to announce it would change the atmosphere, and maybe not for the better. Plus, not knowing for sure he was there made the moment when he appeared at the end that much more moving.

Those were fun captions. XD I'm sure letting Takki win that one was (one of) Tsubasa's way(s) of saying thank you to him for all he's done. ♥

Thank you very very much for this wonderful report. My friend kept me a bit updated about the concerts but it was really nice to read a full report with so many little details. Your memory is surely amazing ( ... )

Thank you so much for making this report. I was crying when reading Tsubasa's speech and when Tackey said he would protect T&T and protect Tsubasa. I just pray for the best things to Tsubasa so that he can recover soon.

I'm glad that you like Tree. Ha ha ha....

I have hope for his future. Meniere's seems to demand a lot of changes to diet that cuts things like alcohol and tobacco, so he might avoid other complications later in life. It also seems to be less of a debilitating disease and more something that's mental, and Tsubasa's good with soul-searching, so I think he'll be able to manage it with the grace he's aiming for. ♡

Tree's pretty great. :D I would make a pun with his name in Japanese and call him フ木 but it's not clever enough, so I'll just stick with Tree.

Yeah, I read the medical consultation of this disease and know that he has to carry it throughout his life though his case may not be serious. He has take very much care of his health and conditions. Of course it will force him to reduce his works as well. But as long as he can be fine again and do something with Tackey then I'm satisfied already.

Ha ha ha.... I think Tree is a nice nickname, it means he succeeded in making people remember him and what he was trying to do at the concert.

Oh, I read a fan repo that Tackey suggested to do something with Tsubasa in future. Then Fukka suggested that please take Snow Man with them to onsen. Then he modified that one trip that only two of them (Tackey & Tsubasa), and the other trip two of them bring Snow Man along to onsen. I hope Tackey and Tsubasa will have time to go onsen together.

Honestly I think this is why he was out of the limelight for so long. From what I've read, Meniere's responds badly to tobacco, caffeine, and alcohol, all of which he consumes pretty regularly. He's been smoking at least since he was in his mid-teens, so if he's decided to quit that altogether it's probably been stressing him out. He can do anything when he's motivated enough, so I think all he needs is time to adjust. ♥

Yeah, when Tree suggested Snowman go with T&T to the onsen I thought, "This one is clever, trying to get additional work during a concert." But Takki's response was awesome. You can go with T&T privately, Tree, but if that onsen show happens, I would rather have them there alone. Or with KinKi. That would be, without question, the greatest television program of all time. (Special guest Nagase.)

Thank you so much for typing all of this up. I read the whole thing with interest, since I wanted to know what they would do without Tsubasa, but honestly by the time you got to Tsubasa coming out, I was crying myself. I knew he had been there and everything! But it was really touching.

Also everytime you called Fukka "the tree" i keep giggling harder and harder.

Thanks again, it's so nice to read a long, thorough, heartfelt report like this.

I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I probably should have waited to write it because now I'm remembering a bunch of details that I missed, but I wanted to post it quickly since I knew fans who couldn't go were wondering how the tour had gone (and especially how Tsubasa's appearance went ( ... )

I'm actually pretty sure that the guy who got a new character written for himself this year was Fukka. His full name is Fukazawa Tatsuya (or Fukasawa, mags aren't consistent and he doesn't know himself), and this year Tackey said that he thought Fukka was ready to challenge a part for just him. He definitely seems to be pushing Fukka more front this year even in small things, like in this con you saw, and that's awesome. Fukka seems to me a lot like Tamamori, in that when he's backed into a corner suddenly he can do anything.

Tackey loves the Snowmen so, so much. I'm glad he takes care of them. the others, by contrast are Miyadate (Date-sama), Sakuma, Abe, Iwamoto (Hikaru), and Watanabe (Nabesho).

Since news came out, I was hoping for a post from you, to see if I was really understanding what I was reading, and of course I was thinking about how worried you would be being a Tsubasa fan.

I'm not even a big fan and I'm worried too and I'm crying too after reading your post. Suddenly I don't have words.

Thanks for summarizing the situation and sharing your report. I can't say much but only hope he gets better and that he'll be back doing what he loves.

The first time he missed to base, I just figured he'd tired himself out from GOEMON. Even when Takki said he'd been admitted to the hospital and Japanese fans were saying his symptoms sounded like Meniere's I was convinced it would be something simpler like exhaustion. When the newspapers said it was Meniere's, I was a little annoyed because I thought they were jumping the gun and I didn't want to believe anything unless I heard it from Takki or Tsubasa themselves. When Takki confirmed it (and he never used the name of the condition, but he said something like, "I'm sure you've all heard the news by now"), I was convinced he'd heal in time for the concerts. It's not so much that I've been refusing to accept it, I just think of Tsubasa as invulnerable ( ... )
