Go you:)) I went here once as a kid on a boring fnaily holiday. all I remember is that I lit a lamp at the monastery. Whatch going to do there? Are you going to go to Trund there?
Ok, we think it's a big deal if we see deer, or bunnies, and discount altogether the possibility of bear (though it is a possibility). But thisWildlife spotting happened in the form of an elephant footmark and later, a small rustle in the forests above, which may have been a bison or a wild boar apparently just totally blew me away.
I've seen elephants from a distance in a wildlife sanctuary once, but that was ages ago, so I was really hoping to spot one. what i really, really wnat to see though is a tiger in the wild.
When we lived in Alaska we saw a grizzly bear, from a very safe distance (miles away) through someone's telescope. So that hardly counts.
There are supposedly black bears in this area upon occasion - our neighborhood backs up against woods which are being systematically destroyed in favor of roads and housing developments - but I've not seen them. I don't think anything could ever really beat the moose on the back porch we had in Alaska, though. *g*
