As some of you may know, I've been having a little trouble with my computer. ) : My main troubles are IE and Yahoo Messenger. Yahoo doesn't effect me TOO much, because all the cool people have AIM or MSN as well as Yahoo. However, IE being down was TRAGIC. Grab some add-ons. Adblock = no more ads. Forecastfox = weather in your taskbar. Gesture browsing = move mouse to navigate vs. clicking buttons. Many others exist

Adblock alone will change your life. Highly super extra recommended.

I also love any of the bunch of download extensions, like DownThemAll, that let you grab all the links to porn things on a page.

Don't forget the little tabs you can open instead of opening and entirely new window!

And there's also an LJ addon program that you just have to hit two keyboard keys and a window pops up and you can enter in your LJ entry and everything without actually being on LiveJournal.com
