That's why I couldn't help myself chuckle when I saw the title the first time. ^0^ Good job you have done! Thank you very much for your endeavour.

Thank You for the release

Hmm...I've always heard August 15 used as a Chinese euphemism for the butt. unless I heard wrong. I've never used that saying tho. I use "pet pet" (sorry I have no ping ying skills, and that would be in Cantonese)

You're right. Actually this is the first time I encountered this phrase. It's really a far stretch as euphemisms go.

... ah, I only understand Mandarin, so I have no idea what you mean by 'pet pet'. ^^;;;;;

I so need to polish on my chinese euphemisms after this.

thanx for the comment.
much appreciated.

Lotus.

My understanding of Mandarin is only when it sound similar in Cantonese. hehe I'm actually ToyShan (or I think its pronounced TaiShan in Mandarin)

I don't find it that far fetched. I mean even in english "moon" is a euphemism for Butt. and August 15 is the day the Chinese celebrate the moon. So its a small stretch because you have to find the connection but not that far since in addition of being called Mid-Autumn Festival, its also simply called Moon Festival. It could possibly be one of the cultured euphemisms around for something that is, well depending on content, can be considered "dirty" ^__^
