One would suggest perhaps Alan should go if only a single $2 item was to be purchased...

however, logic seems to be outwayed by the opportunity to go shopping. *grin*

See, jewelry only inspires me if it is pearls or coral, and then I remember all the other pearl and coral jewelry that I own and do not wear. I actually wear far more jewelry in the SCA and even with that I have a bunch than languishes. But shoes, ah shoes. My shoe corner of the bedroom is bursting, and yet I buy more. And bags, I get some of the best bags at Marshall's/Ross.

Congrats on being about to leave the jewelry show early. :)

I sometimes wear necklaces, but often find most of them really too short and chokers on me. I hate chains since they snarl in my hair at the back of my neck. I haven't worn earrings since 7th grade, and the only rings I really wear are my engagement and wedding rings. And bracelets tend to get in the way of the typing and mouse action at work. I guess I've just ran into too many jewelry obstacles for it to be fun and easy for me.

Heck, a faculty member of mine brought me from Taiwan a polished tiger's eye lozenge that would be a perfect pendant on a necklace, that is still floating in the bottom of my purse in a plastic bag.

But y'know, Isobel wears mostly all black and also wears lots of neat jewelry. I'm sensing a trend. I love color, so I guess color is my one main accessory.
