Yeah, that photo does resemble Squall better. But it took the woman forever to remember the band, so I doubt she knew what GACKT-san looked like back then. (9_9)

And I LOOOVE the animated gif! That is probably the most loltastic expression of GACKT-san being seriously pissed!

I'm with you on that one. It really get annoyed when I see people say that it true. No matter how many I say that it's not true people always go and say it is. -_- It really doesn't help that rumors spread like crazy and it's mentioned in a lot of Gackt fan sites too. =/

In many ways you could say many FFVII characters are based on Gackt because the character designer Tetsuya Nomura is an avid fan. Thank you Tetsuya for the buckles!

It's not true. The only FF character based on GACKT is Genesis. He also did his voice and motion capture for the character. Some people might feel that he has a slight resemblance to Squall or Cloud but that's only a coincidence and nothing more. Genesis in the other hand really does look like GACKT.
