A nice vacation

I had a wonderful time at home! Not much has changed over there, except for some animals moving out and some moving in, but then again that often happens. Some animals just can’t stay in one place! I got back in touch with some old friends and had some bonding time with my sister, both of which were great!

I'm pleased to hear you had an enjoyable vacation, Miss Sable. It's my belief that we're all tied to our first "home," even when we move on and travel. I always visit my family when I take trips to my home planet. Even at my age, I still miss my parents from time to time.

Hmm... I have a difficult time getting in touch with old friends, but my wife has quite a few she still communicates with.

Your sister must have been very pleased to see you again.

Ohh yes, I agree! I always try to take a chance to go back home whenever I can. Of course, with school starting, there's not going to be much time, but at least my hometown isn't too terribly far away.

I can understand that. I actually haven't talked to a certain friend for a long time before this vacation. Talking to him after all this time still felt great, though I was feeling just a bit nervous beforehand.

She was! We haven't seen each other since Christmas time. I think she's matured just a little bit too, but then again I always get that feeling whenever I see her.

Ah! I can relate to that! My previous job at Hocotate Freight drained me of my free time and I always felt like when I returned home, my children were growing older and maturing. It doesn't doesn't feel that long ago from when my son still couldn't even talk, and now he's twelve! Time does fly... I'm so thankful to be closer with my wife and children now.

I'm the same way with my sister. It only feels like just a few days ago when she first learned to walk, and now she's running the family shop by herself! She just keeps on growing...

I'm glad to hear that! It always feels so good to get close again with loved ones.

Welcome back, miss Sable! Glad you had a nice visit back to your hometown!

I'm interested in starting up a sewing club, and I'm looking for a teacher who'd be interested in looking over the club. Would you be interested in it, since you're the Home Economics teacher afterall?

Hello again, Brendan!

I think that a sewing club is a lovely idea! I would be more than happy to help out with it in any way possible!

That's great to hear! I'll be getting the paperwork done so we can start meeting once school starts again! =)
