I already blogged it on that other site, might as well do it here too. I got the new Writer's Digest today. It had the list of contest winners. I wasn't among them, so now I'm feeling pretty shitty. The end.

Might as well mention that I did listen to disc one of World War Z today. It's REALLY good. Max Brooks did a great job researching world cultures. The interviewer travels the globe in search of the origins of the outbreak, and speaks to people in China, Tibet, Israel, Palestine, and the US. And all the characters sound genuine. So, I did get a new battery put in my Swiss Army watch... but the people there couldn't get the BACK to stay put! It took a long time before I finally said, "Put the new band back, I'm getting a new watch." Netflix DID get the Gilmour DVD, and Ashleah sent Nip/Tuck back Saturday, which means... Gilmour should arrive in the mail TODAY.  :-D  Only thing though... Ashleah had to put The Player at the #1 slot so she can watch it for class. So, since I only get two at a time, I'm only getting disc one today. Oh well. Yesterday, exactly one week after I sent my query to Harbor House, I received a letter from them. It was short and simple, telling me they're declining. Not why, though. It pisses me off. It's only been a week, so I have to wonder if they even had time to READ it.
