Months ago, I decided that I wasn’t going to Skeeter. I went to Mardi Gras for a night, I skipped RoVent entirely, and I told myself that Skeeter wasn’t an option because of work. (By the way, that was the same excuse I used on myself for RoVent.) Why ISN’T it an option though? Its far enough away that I can book time off, a few days off work won’t

I can't say I missed much about sea scouts. It may have been the most immature time of my life. (aka we basically figured out ways to light everything on fire that we could. sometimes on boats, for the nautical content.)

That is very sad to hear Ali. *hugs* Is there any means to which I might assist you in overcoming this shadow. I have often said that in this organization, we take care of our own. This seems not to be the case and for that I am shamed, yet all is not lost. My suggestion, come to Skeeter. Try it. Things might just go well this year. Last one wasn't that great anyways, and MG has been going down in it's excitement over the years. But your fiends are still with you, and if they are not (myself included) then I am truly, deeply sorry and we are not the people we say we are.
Every camp is different, they tend to have some things in common, but they are never the same. You are bound to have a bad one now and then. The trick is to get back on the horse. It might just be what you need to lift your spirits.
