I read the story so far and am looking forward to the update. I find it really amusing how irritated Itachi is about Sakura tricking him :) (I can hardly imagine a sensible leader would drain his student into the point of not functioning= no rest - he is angry isn't he?)

Id say I have a little hard time to adjust to Sakura being so complaining very often (but I do grant her why she does it), but its AU, so she is perfectly fine. And its a nice exchange to have Itachi paired up with "b*tchy" Sakura instead of the "all-knowing-experienced-flawless" pink gal.

About Sakura... I usually write her as someone who's not hesitant to grumble and complain anymore (reasonable complaints, though) due to the lack of Inner Sakura in shippuuden. I understand that she's often, if not always, the 'smile before kill' type (like the scene with her smiling at Sai before giving him a sucker punch for insulting Sasuke) but for this one I wanted her to be too pissed to keep some cool lol She'll lighten up soon, though, don't worry.

Aaaand yeah, I've read too many fanfics where Sakura's a little too perfect, or a little too emotional, or gets carried away easily. Hence, this story. (And I think it's a nice match to Itachi's collected, calm, and confident personality :D)
