I've gotten used to people thinking badly of me simply for my personal preferences and how I act. I've even been punched before at times, because I refuse to stay out of someone's comfort zone just so they don't get "teh ghey" from me. But...this time was different. I didn't even speak a word to them nor did I attempt to come anywhere near them. But even so, they attacked me, as if the very sight of me was a threat to them.

You and Kintarou stay out of this. If you want to come down to Osaka, fine, but don't get into a fight a day before the tournament. You do a lot of stupid things, i hope you don't add this to the list, Hikaru. Also, don't get Kintarou into a fight either... not only he could get hurt, he is stronger than he thinks and if he gets really angry i don't think anyone can stop him, least of all you. So no.

I know you can beat them up, i just don't want you to get into trouble. We are supposed to be representing Japan in 2 days, and i'm not worried you'll get hurt, i know you wont, but... you are one of the 3 best players in this tournament, there are going to be lots of eyes over you and this could set you up for the future.

Koharu, this should be reported, to both police and the school. I'm sure no one at the school Adm. would like such characters to be studying there.

I'm coming over to see how you are, if you have an injury you can always have someone replace you for the first month of the tournament. I can talk to the organizers and see if i can do something about it.

I don't want to start anymore trouble with them, Shiraishi. And I know I will if I try to get them punished at school. I just want to put this incident behind me and try to forget about it.

I will try my best to heal up in as little time as possible, but I'm afraid that I will be missing the beginning matches. I'm in no condition to be playing at the moment.

Don't worry about the first matches. I just gave them a call and apparently they have some late entries that could replace you for January. If you are still not ready to play, it's also fine.... just take care of yourself for now.

You're right, it *is* my decision. And my decision tells me to stay away from them at all costs, because they can't do anything to me or any of my friends if we are not anywhere near them.

Kintarou-san, I appreciate the support, but I don't want you to fight them. Both you and Hikaru-kun need to stay away from them. Just leave them be. I'd rather they just forget about me, just as I wish to forget them. I want nothing to do with them. And I don't want you to get involved in anything with them either and risk getting yourself hurt also.

I'm not questioning whether they deserve it or not. ...I'm questioning whether or not my friends will come back any better off than I was when I encountered them. Or will they find themselves worse off? What if they have friends of their own with them? These men have been known to associate with others who are involved in gangs. What if when they find them they are with that gang? They could end up doing something horrible to them, and I wouldn't be able to forgive myself if that happened.
